Private Rehab

Private rehab is a place where people struggling with addiction go to get professional help. Treatment programmes at rehab clinics are focused on helping clients to break the cycle of active addiction and acquire the tools they need for long term recovery.

Residential private rehab is widely accepted as the most effective way to treat addiction.

The benefits of Private Rehab

Whilst programmes, prices and philosophies vary from clinic to clinic, private rehabs generally offer the following benefits:

  1. They are residential which means that clients can focus simply on getting well, without the distractions or pressures from home or work.
  2. They are specialists in addiction and have the expertise and experience to help people recover.
  3. They offer tailored treatment plans for individual clients.
  4. They recognise that treatment is often needed urgently and can be accessed immediately.
  5. They offer superior levels of comfort, care and staffing.
  6. They offer aftercare to support clients once they return to their home environment.

Programmes vary in length and can usually be tailored to suit your individual circumstances. Many programmes are 28 days in length as this is deemed to be the minimum amount of time necessary to break the cycle of addiction and build the foundations of recovery.
What does rehab cost?
Private rehab costs vary from clinic to clinic and prices depend on the length of stay and level of accommodation.
Although private treatment is a considerable investment in both time and money, it often isn’t as expensive as most people fear it will be.

Is there a rehab near me?
To find a clinic near your home town, please use our treatment centre directory, where we list the majority of registered UK clinics.

While some clients choose to go to a rehab near their home town, others choose to travel further a field to rehab. A change of environment can give more of a sense of a fresh start, whilst staying more local can make family visits easier. Either option has its benefits and the best choice depends on your individual needs and wants.

Can I have my own room?
Most clinics will offer single rooms.
