Abstinence-based care for alcoholism and drug abuse.
Relax into the comfort and privacy of this walled retreat set on the border between England and Wales. Here, residents stay in a grand detached house which lies close to the facility’s day centre where the various treatment programmes take place. When not at the day centre, clients are involved in all aspects of running the household as a team, taking on various tasks and responsibilities.
The highly structured daily programme is designed to help programme participants to recognise and accept the extent of their chemical dependency before moving on to develop the skills necessary for long-term recovery – the whole approach being based on the tried and tested 12-step philosophy.
The clinic is flexible in its approach to the length of time residents spend there, but the majority of clients choose to stay between 4 and 6 weeks in order for the individual programmes to take maximum effect. They are delivered by a team of qualified and experienced counsellors, all of whom have personal experience of addiction and the process of recovery. The staff are dedicated to working closely with participants to offer the insight, information, support and feedback needed to achieve a drug and alcohol free future.
This rehab clinic is most suitable for…
- Men and women over the age of 18 who are dealing with addiction problems.
- People willing to get involved in the daily running of a busy clinic.
