Port of Call offers independent advice on drug rehab in Inverness and alcohol rehab in Inverness.
The drive to create Port of Call came about through personal experience of finding a void in available advice around rehab and difficulty to find the right placement.
Our team works to ensure you have somewhere to call – day or night – to ask the questions you need to and be informed about the differences between the options available to you.
In some cases, it can feel difficult to even find or actually get access to help but support with addiction in Inverness and wider Scotland is available and this is where Port of Call comes in.
We can talk you through rehab options in the area and make an immediate booking when that is right for you. We can also organise viewings and visits to centres if you wish to take more time over your decision.
We’re connected to therapists, counsellors and detox clinics who can support you to get clean and into recovery.
Many of our calls come not from the person who has a drink or drug problem, but a worried relative, friend or colleague.
You may fear the person you care about is unwilling to face their addiction but it is our experience that on many occasions these calls to us are the prompt everyone needs to begin finding a solution.
Where someone is deeply in denial we can offer the support of a counsellor to help you to help them to face things.
Rehab is a supportive and structured environment to step away from daily life, temptations and habits and a safe space to address your issues with drugs or alcohol.
Depending on your requirements you may have your own room or you could be in shared accommodation. The environment is likely to feel more homely than a hospital – though medical, clinical and professional teams will manage and monitor your programme of care.
That care will be built around you and your specific needs and will involve supported detox treatments and help to alleviate withdrawal symptoms, as well as address what led you to addiction in the first place and give you a toolkit to avoid returning to it. Issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, past trauma or other deep-seated or unidentified mental health needs often contribute to addiction. Rehab is there to help you work through these and find a solution.
We’re happy to answer your questions and talk through your concerns. Please do get in touch by text, phone or email.
